The personal characteristics a member of
the Servants
of the Lord Christian Motorcycle Club are summarized as follows:
- A Servant of the
Lord
must not quarrel, but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient enduring
evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. (2nd Timothy
2:24, 25 7)
- A Servant
of
the
Lord is required to be
found trustworthy. (1st Corinthians 4:2 8)
- A Servant of the
Lord is free from all, but has made himself a servant to
all,
that he might win more of them. (1st Corinthians 9:19 9)
- A Servant of the
Lord
is to be trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine…
Having nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths, rather training
themselves for godliness… Godliness is of value in every way, as it
holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. To this end, a Servant of the Lord
is to toil and strive, because they have their hope set on the living
God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
- A Servant of the
Lord is to command
and teach these things. (1st
Timothy 4:6-11 10)
